Victor Robles can make up to $22.25 million over three years with his new contract with the Seattle Mariners, which includes $9.75 million guaranteed for the 2025 and 2026 seasons.
Robles will receive a $1.25 million signing bonus as part of the deal announced Monday. His salaries are set at $3.5 million for 2025 and $4.5 million for 2026. He can earn up to $1 million each year in performance bonuses based on plate appearances: $500,000 for reaching 500 plate appearances and another $500,000 for reaching 600.
Additionally, his 2026 salary could increase by up to $1 million depending on his plate appearances in 2025, with $500,000 for reaching 500 and another $500,000 for 600.
The Mariners have a $9 million team option for 2027 with a $500,000 buyout.
Robles is currently hitting .292 with three home runs, seven doubles, eight RBIs, and 12 stolen bases in 43 games with the Mariners. He joined Seattle on June 4, shortly after being released by Washington.
Once a top prospect with the Nationals, Robles played only 36 games last season and hit .120 in 14 games before being designated for assignment on May 27.
He has reached 500 plate appearances only once, achieving 617 in 2019 when the Nationals won the World Series.
