Former Liverpool striker Peter Crouch has expressed his belief that the Reds will clinch the Premier League title this season, edging out contenders Arsenal and Manchester City.
Crouch, who played for Liverpool from 2005 to 2008, shared his perspective on the title race during a discussion on his podcast. He stated:
“I think Liverpool as well, you can’t rule out City at all. I think Liverpool win it, City second, and Arsenal third I think.”
With a significant portion of the season still ahead, Manchester City holds the power to determine their Premier League destiny. If they secure victories in their remaining 16 league fixtures, they stand to claim their sixth Premier League title in seven seasons.
Presently, Liverpool leads the table with 51 points from 23 matches, holding a two-point advantage over Manchester City. The Cityzens, on par with Arsenal in points, possess a game in hand over both teams. Notably, they clinched the title last season despite Arsenal holding the top spot for a record 248 days.
