Kelsey Plum scored 34 points as the Las Vegas Aces defeated the Indiana Fever 88-69 on Tuesday night in front of the fifth-largest crowd in WNBA history.

Playing before 20,366 fans, the largest regular-season attendance since 1999, the Aces, reigning champions, secured their fifth consecutive victory.

A’ja Wilson contributed 28 points and nine rebounds, while Jackie Young recorded 15 points and 10 assists. Kiah Stokes pulled down 12 rebounds. Despite leading all scorers, Plum praised Wilson after the game.

“Did you know she averages 28 points a game? That’s just another day for her,” Plum remarked, currently ranking 87th on the WNBA career scoring list with 3,002 points. “It’s incredible. We often take it for granted, but we’re witnessing one of the greatest players of all time right before our eyes.”

Indiana’s trio of All-Stars—Kelsey Mitchell, Aliyah Boston, and Caitlin Clark—combined for 54 points, accounting for 78.2% of their team’s scoring. All three players were named to the WNBA All-Star team set to face the U.S. Olympic team in Phoenix on July 20.

Plum, Wilson, Young, and Chelsea Gray are all members of Team USA.

Mitchell led the Fever with 23 points, while Clark contributed 13 points and 11 assists. Boston added 18 points and 11 rebounds, with NaLyssa Smith grabbing 14 boards for Indiana.

“We missed some shots that we typically make,” Clark acknowledged. “It’s tough to beat a team like this when we can’t score at their rate. There were moments where we played well, especially in the third quarter, but our start in the fourth wasn’t good, and the game slipped away.”

Despite falling behind by as much as 11 points early in the third quarter, the Fever, inspired by Clark’s performance, attempted to replicate their comeback victory against Phoenix on Sunday.
