Ange Postecoglou, Tottenham Hotspur’s Head Coach, Expresses high praise for goalkeeper Fraser Forster.

Ange Postecoglou stated that Fraser Forster, the goalkeeper of  Tottenham Hotspur, has been extraordinarily impressed during their training sessions, calling his performance extraordinary.

The ex-Celtic manager shared these remarks while assessing the goalkeepers he currently has on his team, specifically referring to the goalkeeper who earns £75,000 per week, according to Spotrac.

At the present, Guglielmo Vicario is Tottenham’s first-choice goalkeeper. Hugo Lloris, ex-captain of the team, is still present at the club in North London.

Postecoglou’s Assessment of Tottenham’s Goalkeeper Fraser Forster

Ange Postecoglou’s statement regarding Fraser Forster, as reported by Football.London: “Vic’s earned the right to be number one; his performances have been outstanding, so if he continues in that manner, and having Fraser and Hugo there, he’s going to make sure he is on it every day.

“Fraser has been unbelievable, the way he’s been training, and he was unlucky in the Fulham game. He had a good game there.

“That’s what I want, and that’s what they want. They want to be pushed every day to be the best they can be.”

Fraser Forster’s Potential Success Under Ange Postecoglou at Tottenham Hotspur

We think Fraser Forster might be very valuable to Tottenham Hotspur under Ange Postecoglou’s leadership. His significant experience gives the manager a trustworthy alternative to step in when needed, even though his spot in the starting lineup is not guaranteed.

“Even though Guglielmo Vicario is playing exceptionally well right now, the future is unpredictable, so having a guy like Fraser Forster in the Tottenham team is beneficial. Throughout his career, Forster has made 148 Premier League games and has kept 45 clean sheets.

Ange Postecoglou’s Thoughts on Tottenham Hotspur Pair Destiny Udogie and Micky van de Ven

Postecoglou stated: “He’s been great. We started off the season with Destiny playing his first Premier League game.

“Micky van de Ven had had two training sessions, playing his first Premier League game, Vicario playing his first Premier League game. All starting in a back four, back five, but within that context, you give guys the platform, opportunity, and hopefully belief that we’ll support them, and you get these outcomes, but it’s still a challenge to do that.”

The Tottenham Hotspur’s manager added: “We spoke about it as a coaching staff; for that first-team selection, it could have been easier to go safer. Absolutely, but we needed to change, and we needed to challenge things.

“Guys like Destiny and Micky and these players who have not just gone in there and found their feet, they’ve gone in there and tried to smash it. That’s what I want.”
