According to reports from Spanish outlet Relevo, Real Madrid is considering loaning out Arda Guler once the season concludes.

The Turkish sensation was brought in by Los Blancos from Fenerbahce for a reported fee of €30 million at the beginning of the campaign. However, his progress has been hampered by recurring injury setbacks, limiting his playing time this season.

Despite being just 19 years old, Guler has only managed five appearances across various competitions, totaling just 92 minutes on the field. With Brahim Diaz and Joselu performing impressively, Guler has found it challenging to secure regular minutes on the pitch.

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti addressed Guler’s situation before the Valencia match, which ended in a 2-2 draw on Saturday, March 2, emphasizing the importance of consistent playing time for the youngster’s development.

“I believe that a young talent like him needs consistent playing time to evolve. This presents a dilemma, given the team’s and the club’s expectations. It requires patience. While I acknowledge the necessity for him to gain experience, it doesn’t necessarily align with the team’s immediate needs.

Nonetheless, I hope the fans will have the opportunity to witness his talent,” Ancelotti remarked via Relevo.

Given the limited opportunities available at Real Madrid, a loan move may provide Guler with the chance to continue his development elsewhere at the conclusion of the season.
