Arsenal’s interest in Al-Hilal central midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has intensified amid rumors linking him with a move to Juventus, according to reports from Italian publication Tutto Juve.
The Gunners are reportedly prepared to present a more enticing offer than Juventus if the opportunity arises to secure the 28-year-old midfielder’s services.
Milinkovic-Savic made the switch to the Saudi Pro League last summer for a reported fee of €40 million, marking the end of his eight-year tenure at Lazio. With 22 appearances across competitions for Al Hilal this season, he has notably contributed nine goals and five assists.
Mikel Arteta’s side is actively seeking reinforcements in midfield, particularly due to concerns surrounding Thomas Partey’s fitness. The Ghanaian international has been limited to just four Premier League appearances this season and continues to grapple with a hamstring injury.
With midfield vacancies to fill, Arsenal aims to bolster their ranks in pursuit of the league title.
