Arsenal’s interest in Al-Hilal central midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has intensified amid rumors linking him with a move to Juventus, according to reports from Italian publication Tutto Juve.

The Gunners are reportedly prepared to present a more enticing offer than Juventus if the opportunity arises to secure the 28-year-old midfielder’s services.

Milinkovic-Savic made the switch to the Saudi Pro League last summer for a reported fee of €40 million, marking the end of his eight-year tenure at Lazio. With 22 appearances across competitions for Al Hilal this season, he has notably contributed nine goals and five assists.

Mikel Arteta’s side is actively seeking reinforcements in midfield, particularly due to concerns surrounding Thomas Partey’s fitness. The Ghanaian international has been limited to just four Premier League appearances this season and continues to grapple with a hamstring injury.

With midfield vacancies to fill, Arsenal aims to bolster their ranks in pursuit of the league title. While Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard are deemed key midfield assets, the Gunners are eyeing a player for the number-eight position. Milinkovic-Savic’s versatility, capable of playing both as a holding midfielder and in a more advanced role, could offer valuable tactical flexibility.

Furthermore, a potential move to the Emirates Stadium would provide the Serbian midfielder with an enticing opportunity to ply his trade in the Premier League.

Currently, positioned third in the league standings, Arsenal remains five points adrift of table-toppers Liverpool. Additionally, their advancement to the UEFA Champions League round of 16, where they are set to face Porto, underscores their competitive ambitions for the season ahead.
