Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne is reportedly contemplating his future, with just 18 months remaining on his contract with the Premier League champions.
According to The Athletic, De Bruyne is leaning towards a move to the United States rather than the Middle East, where several clubs have shown interest in him. It’s reported that Manchester City might entertain offers close to £90 million from Saudi Arabian clubs.
One such interested team is Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr, who have reportedly reached out to De Bruyne’s representatives. However, despite lucrative offers from the Middle East, De Bruyne has made it clear that he’s not keen on a move to that region.
Instead, the Belgian star is eyeing a potential move to Major League Soccer (MLS), with Inter Miami being a possible destination. De Bruyne is said to admire Lionel Messi’s venture with Inter Miami and could pursue a similar path.
Reports suggest that De Bruyne could command a substantial contract similar to Messi’s current deal, with his contract at Manchester City set to expire in 2025. Alternatively, there remains a possibility that De Bruyne could extend his stay with Manchester City. Manager Pep Guardiola has expressed his desire for the midfielder to finish his career at the club, leaving open the possibility of a contract extension.
