Sam Querrey recently unveiled a comical skit addressing the hefty price tags attached to private sessions with Rafael Nadal and Carlos Alcaraz at the upcoming Netflix Slam.

Set to face off on March 3 in Las Vegas, Nadal and Alcaraz’s highly anticipated clash headlines the event, dubbed ‘The Netflix Slam,’ slated to unfold at the Michelob Ultra Arena within the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. The spectacle will be broadcast on the OTT platform.

Joining the fray are local favorites Taylor Fritz and Frances Tiafoe, alongside retired tennis luminaries John Isner and Sam Querrey, who are expected to partake in an “Ace Challenge” during the exhibition. Additionally, the event will feature a doubles match featuring the Bryan Brothers, Eugenie Bouchard, and Asia Muhammad.

Beyond the marquee matchups, fans can indulge in private tennis sessions with Nadal and Alcaraz, as advertised on the resort’s official website. However, the opportunity comes with a steep price tag of $150,000 for individual sessions and $50,000 per person for group sessions. In contrast, group sessions with Querrey and Isner are priced at a modest $2,000.

In a light-hearted jest aimed at the price discrepancy, Querrey quipped about the allure of his and Isner’s sessions, labeling them as the “steal of the century.”

“A lot of folks have been checking out the Netflix Slam package online. If you want Alcaraz or Nadal, it’s $150,000. But if you fancy hitting with Isner and myself, it’s $2,000. That’s the steal of the century,” he chuckled.

In a tongue-in-cheek fashion, the former World No. 11 then humorously outlined the plethora of services he would provide for the hefty $150,000 price tag.

“I’ll walk your dog, teach you laundry folding techniques, offer psychological lessons on avoiding Major victories, assist with tax filings, whip up some gourmet lunch, provide guidance on crafting compelling social media content, and even tuck you in at bedtime,” he quipped.

Querrey, now engaged in pickleball following his tennis career, also pledged to acquaint fans with the sport.

“And since winning a Slam isn’t in the cards, I’ll teach you the next best thing – mastering pickleball,” he concluded with a playful tone.
