Kyle Busch’s Son Brexton Makes Mother Samantha Proud After Securing the Championship

Samantha Busch beams with pride as her son Brexton brings home yet another championship trophy. This isn’t the first taste of victory for the young racer, as Brexton, son of Kyle Busch, has been tearing up the racetracks since he made his debut at the tender age of 5.

From the moment he first gripped the wheel, Brexton Busch has consistently delivered stellar performances.

Just a month after his debut in the Beginner Box Stock Division at Millbridgeway and Mountain Creek Speedway, Brexton secured his maiden win. Now at 8 years old, Brexton claimed the championship trophy in his very first Bando race, with Samantha, like any proud mother, cheering him on and sharing her joy at his triumph.

Taking to Instagram, Brexton shared his excitement over his first Bando victory with his followers. Amidst images from the racetracks and his father’s Daytona 500 run, he exclaimed, “🥇 Three second-place finishes and two wins to end the week earned the crew and I a championship!🙌🏻 After 8 races in 9 days, it’s time to go cheer on Dad in the 500!!!👊🏻 #BRex #nascar #shorttrack”.

In response, Samantha shared her son’s Instagram post on her own account, adding to the chorus of support. Her proud mama moment was evident as she shared snippets from the racetrack and expressed her hope for Brexton’s bright racing future, captioning her Instagram story, “Proud mama. Way to go, Brexton.”.

Earlier in the year, at the Winter Nationals 2024, Brexton competed in the Bandit division of the Bandolero category.

Racing at the Citrus County Speedway & Track in Inverness, Florida, he started from P2 and quickly surged to the front, showcasing his racing prowess. Once again, Brexton dominated the field, accruing an impressive 391 points, closely trailed by Wyatt Coffey with 388 points.

Brexton’s achievements speak volumes about his potential trajectory in the world of NASCAR, following in the footsteps of his grandfather, Tom Busch, and father, Kyle Busch. Since his debut in 2020, Brexton’s consistent performances have marked him as one to watch.

In his debut year alone, he notched up nine victories across six different dirt tracks spanning four states: North Carolina, Missouri, Arizona, and Illinois. This included a notable victory in the Clash at Coliseum Indoor Winter Series race at the National Equestrian Center.

Among his accomplishments in 2022, Brexton clinched his first-ever Junior Sprint victory at Adobe Mountain Speedway in Glendale, Arizona.

He secured his inaugural Junior Sprint Feature win at the Midwest Winter Nationals at the DuQuoin State Fairgrounds in Illinois. By October 2023, Brexton had amassed over 30 wins across 11 tracks in eight states.

With such a track record, it’s no wonder that parents Kyle Busch and Samantha Busch are optimistic about Brexton’s promising future in racing.
