Cleveland Browns’ star pass rusher, Myles Garrett, has received reassuring news regarding his left shoulder injury, as confirmed by coach Kevin Stefanski on Monday.
Stefanski announced that tests conducted on Monday revealed no structural damage to Garrett’s shoulder, alleviating concerns of a serious injury. Consequently, there is optimism that Garrett will be available to play in the upcoming Sunday matchup against the Los Angeles Rams.
The injury occurred during Sunday’s 29-12 loss to the Denver Broncos, with Garrett expressing his discomfort after feeling a pop in his shoulder during the game. Despite leaving the locker room with his arm in a sling, Garrett remains determined to contribute to the team’s success.
Reflecting on his resilience, Garrett stated, “I’ve played through things that should have sidelined me before. I’m going to continue to fight and do what’s best for the team and for myself.” Emphasizing the team’s aspirations for the season, he asserted, “Nothing like this is going to hold us back or me back. Going to find a way to respond.”
As a crucial component of the Browns’ defense, Garrett currently stands tied for second in the league with an impressive 13 sacks.
