Indian tennis sensation Sumit Nagal solidified his position in the top 100 ATP men’s singles rankings on Sunday, February 11, following his triumph at the Chennai Open 2024 ATP Challenger 100 tournament held at the SDAT Tennis Stadium in Chennai.
Nagal secured a notable victory against top-seeded Italian Luca Nardi in straight sets, dominating the match in just under one hour and 40 minutes. From the outset, Nagal exhibited control, strategically targeting areas with unpredictable bounce, forcing his opponent to make errors and hit the ball out of play.
