Stefanos Tsitsipas’s slip from his chair while watching Paula Badosa’s first-round match at the Qatar Open amused fans, with some humorously suggesting he fell while admiring his girlfriend’s beauty.

Stefanos Tsitsipas provided some unintended entertainment during the first-round match of the 2024 Qatar Open as he accidentally fell off his chair while supporting his girlfriend, Paula Badosa, in her match.

Badosa returned to the court in Qatar after recovering from a lower back injury that had forced her to withdraw from the Hua Hin Championship and miss the Abu Dhabi Open.

In her opening match against qualifier Ashlyn Krueger, she claimed the first set with a 6-3 victory but faced a challenge in the second set, which Krueger won 6-4. The match was halted due to rain with Badosa leading 4-2 in the third set.

As the match unfolded, it was Tsitsipas who drew attention during the second set while seated with Badosa’s team. In a moment that amused many fans, he accidentally slipped off his chair, prompting reactions and humorous comments on social media.

One fan jokingly suggested that Tsitsipas’s tumble occurred while he was “admiring the beauty” of Badosa, adding a lighthearted touch to the incident.
