The Cardinals have secured the return of one of their pending free agents for the 2024 season.
As reported by Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, Arizona is bringing back defensive lineman L.J. Collier.
Collier joined the Cardinals on a one-year deal last March after completing his rookie contract with the Seahawks. Unfortunately, he suffered an injury in Week One, sidelining him for the remainder of the season on injured reserve.
Selected as the No. 29 overall pick in the 2019 draft, Collier appeared in 45 games with 16 starts during his first four seasons with Seattle.
Across his tenure, he has tallied 42 total tackles, including six tackles for loss, along with 13 quarterback hits and 3.0 sacks, the last of which was recorded in 2020. Additionally, Collier has registered five passes on defense.
