DaRon Bland’s first game of 2024 will need to be postponed.
According to Todd Archer from ESPN, the Cowboys will not activate the cornerback for their Week 6 game against the Tigers on Sunday.
Bland has a foot injury from August and remains on injured reserve.
He was considered questionable for the game after practicing fully on Wednesday and Thursday, but he did not practice on Friday.
Last year, Bland was the top player in the league with nine interceptions, scoring touchdowns on five of them.
For Sunday’s game, the Cowboys have promoted cornerback Amani Oruwariye and linebacker Darius Harris.
