According to reports, the New York Giants have reached an agreement with quarterback Drew Lock, pending a physical.

Lock, a second-round pick (No. 42 overall) in the 2019 NFL Draft by Denver, has started 23 of 28 games played for the Broncos (2019-2021) and Seahawks (2022-2023). Throughout his career, Lock has completed 59.7% of his passes, tallying 28 touchdowns and 23 interceptions. Additionally, he has scored five rushing touchdowns.

Lock was involved in the trade that sent Russell Wilson to Denver in the 2022 offseason, although he did not see action in his first season with the Seahawks.

However, Lock started two games for them in 2023, including a Week 15 victory over the Eagles where he threw a game-winning 29-yard touchdown pass to Jaxon Smith-Njigba with 28 seconds remaining.

Before entering the NFL, Lock had a successful career at Missouri, where he became the first NFL rookie in the Super Bowl era to pass for 300 yards and three touchdowns in his first career road start. His collegiate achievements include ranking second in SEC history in career passing yards (12,193) and third in touchdown passes (99).
