Tyrese Haliburton scored 20 points, T.J. McConnell added 15 points and 10 assists, helping the Indiana Pacers secure a significant playoff win against the New York Knicks with a score of 121-89. This victory tied the Eastern Conference semifinal series at 2-2.
Haliburton also contributed with six rebounds, five assists, and four 3-pointers as the Pacers dominated the game from start to finish, leading by as much as 43 points. Although they didn’t quite match their biggest playoff win, which came against Cleveland with a 34-point lead in April 2018.
The next game, Game 5, will take place on Tuesday at Madison Square Garden.
Despite the efforts of only three Knicks players reaching double figures, including Alec Burks with 20 points, Jalen Brunson with 18 (his lowest in this postseason), and Deuce McBride with 16, the team struggled with shooting percentages of 33.7% from the field and 18.9% from 3-point range. This led them to face the largest deficit of any team in this postseason.
