The Vikings have made some changes to their offense. They have signed running back Mo Ibrahim and offensive lineman Chuck Filiaga. Both players have experience with the Twin Cities, having played college football at the University of Minnesota.
Ibrahim was with the Lions last year as an undrafted free agent and played in one game, where he had a 22-yard kick return.
Filiaga was an undrafted free agent with the Packers before playing for the San Antonio Brahmas in the UFL. The Vikings’ offensive coordinator, Wes Phillips, has a father named Wade, who is the head coach of the Brahmas.
In related moves, the Vikings waived tight end Trey Knox due to an injury and also waived cornerback Jacobi Francis.
