Yes, Malik Nabers is the real deal. The Giants rookie receiver caught 12 passes on Thursday night against the Cowboys, bringing his total to 35 catches through four games.

This puts him in second place for the most catches made in a player’s first four games.

Nabers, who was the sixth overall pick in the draft, trails only Rams receiver Puka Nacua, who caught 39 passes in his first four games last year.

On Thursday night, he also gained 110 yards, giving him 381 yards in total over four games. However, that total is not enough to enter the top five all-time for an NFL player’s first four games; Dan Edwards from the 1950 New York Yanks holds the No. 5 spot with 412 yards. Nacua set the record last year with 501 yards.

Nabers suffered a concussion late in Thursday’s 20-15 loss but stated on social media that he’s okay. He will still need to go through the stages of the return-to-play protocol. Luckily, he has a few extra days, as the Giants will face the Seahawks in Seattle on October 6.
