The San Francisco 49ers have signed Ricky Pearsall, their first-round pick, to a four-year contract worth $12.5 million, which is fully guaranteed.
This announcement on Thursday means that all eight players drafted by San Francisco this year have now agreed to contracts well ahead of the start of training camp.
Pearsall was selected 31st overall in April after a strong season at Florida, where he recorded 65 catches for 965 yards and four touchdowns.
He is expected to add depth as a potential slot receiver for the Niners. Known for his impressive catches in college, Pearsall joins a dynamic offense that reached the Super Bowl last season, bringing additional playmaking potential.
Earlier in his college career, Pearsall played at Arizona State, where he was teammates with current 49ers receiver Brandon Aiyuk in 2019. Aiyuk recently skipped San Francisco’s offseason activities due to a contract dispute.
Throughout his collegiate career at Florida and Arizona State, Pearsall accumulated 159 catches for 2,420 yards and 14 touchdowns across 55 games.
