Wide receiver Sterling Shepard had a strong performance for the Buccaneers in their win against the Eagles, and he will have more opportunities to contribute moving forward.
Mike Garafolo of NFL Media reports that Shepard will be moved up to the team’s 53-man roster from the practice squad. He has participated in two games as a temporary addition.
Shepard caught three passes for 51 yards in the game against the Eagles. During his eight seasons with the Giants, he recorded 375 catches for 4,146 yards and 23 touchdowns.
The Bucs listed Mike Evans, Jalen McMillan, and Trey Palmer as not participating in practice on Monday, although those were just estimates since the team only held a walkthrough. McMillan missed the game against the Eagles due to a hamstring injury, and Palmer left the game with a concussion.
