Jayden Daniels has a busy schedule ahead as he prepares for the NFL draft. According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, the Vikings have arranged a private workout with Daniels, who previously played for LSU.
With two first-round picks at No. 11 and No. 23 overall, Minnesota may need to trade up to grab Daniels. He’s a potential pick for Washington at No. 2.
The 2023 Heisman trophy winner has visits planned with the Giants and the Commanders next week, and he already met with the Patriots, who have the No. 3 pick.
The Vikings need a quarterback after Kirk Cousins left. Although they signed Sam Darnold to a one-year deal, it’s uncertain if he’ll be the long-term solution.
As the offseason program approaches, the Vikings also have Nick Mullens and Jaren Hall on their roster.
