The Commanders made a change to their roster on Monday morning.

They announced that long-snapper Tucker Addington has been released from the team. Last month, the team signed Tyler Ott as a free agent, and this move suggests Ott will handle the duties for the upcoming 2024 season.

Addington played in three games for the Commanders last season and was credited with one tackle.

Previously, Addington played in the USFL in 2022 and later joined the Cowboys practice squad in October. He didn’t play in any games for the Cowboys but did play in three games for the Patriots after joining them.

Last summer, he was in camp with the Jaguars before signing with the Commanders in December.
