The Browns are looking at a possible young quarterback to develop. According to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN, Cleveland welcomed former Tennessee quarterback Joe Milton for a visit before the draft this week.
Milton, aged 24, played at Michigan from 2018 to 2020 before moving to Tennessee in 2021. In 2023, he threw for 2,813 yards with 20 touchdowns and five interceptions for the Volunteers.
While Milton is seen as a prospect for Day 3 of the draft, he has good arm strength. This was evident during the scouting combine when he threw a 70-yard pass during drills.
Apart from starting quarterback Deshaun Watson, the Browns currently have Jameis Winston, Tyler Huntley, and Dorian Thompson-Robinson on their quarterback roster.
