This time of year can be tough for bettors. It’s common for a struggling NFL team to have a good game and keep it close against a better team. If you’re not keen on betting on a game like that, you might want to try one (or more) of the hundreds of player props available.
With three games on Thanksgiving and another on Black Friday, there are fewer games than usual. However, there are still plenty of NFL player props to choose from. To help you decide which ones to bet on, here is a list of the top 10 player props for Sunday’s Week 13 games.
NFL Week 13: Player Props
Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Cincinnati Bengals
Pat Freiermuth, four-plus receptions at +194 (FanDuel)
Freiermuth had four receptions last week in the loss to the Browns and at least that many in each of the first four games of the season.
Since the Bengals are a passing team, the Steelers will need all their weapons to keep up with Cincinnati’s passing game. The Bengals’ defense has not been tough on tight ends this season, so Freiermuth could have a bigger role than usual and get four or more receptions.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Carolina Panthers
Bryce Young, O/U 195.5 passing yards at -114/-114 (FanDuel)
Bryce Young has been playing well since returning to the starting lineup. He has thrown for 200 or more yards in two of his last four games and is completing over 60% of his passes. With Tampa Bay’s strong run defense, the Panthers will likely need Young to throw the ball to stay in the game. Given how well he’s playing, we’ll go with the OVER.
Indianapolis Colts vs. New England Patriots
Drake Maye, O/U 220.5 passing yards at -115/-115 (DraftKings)
Maye threw for more than 220 yards against the Rams and Dolphins, both solid defenses, in his last two games. The Colts’ defense ranks 27th in pass defense and has allowed opponents to average 231.7 passing yards per game over the past three games. Maye has averaged 230 yards per game in his last three. Take the OVER.
Los Angeles Rams vs. New Orleans Saints
Kyren Williams, O/U 19.5 rushing attempts at -102/-128 (FanDuel)
Williams has had 16, 15, and 15 carries over the last three weeks, but had 20-plus carries in the previous four games and averages 18.8 carries per game this season. He’s facing a Saints team that allows 26.7 rushing attempts per game, and 27.8 at home. With both teams fighting for playoff spots, Williams should get a lot of touches. Take the OVER.
Kyren Williams, O/U 82.5 rushing yards at -113/-113 (FanDuel)
Williams has rushed for over 82.5 yards in three of the five games where he had 20 or more carries. The Saints give up 134.2 yards per game on the ground, and 163.2 yards at home. Given their weakness against the run, we’ll take the OVER.
Kyren Williams, O/U 11.5 receiving yards (DraftKings)
Williams has not been targeted much in the passing game recently, with only three targets in the last two weeks. He hasn’t had more than 11.5 receiving yards in those games. Take the UNDER.
Houston Texans vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
C.J. Stroud, O/U 259.5 passing yards at -115/-115 (BetMGM)
This could be a big game for Stroud, as Jacksonville has the worst pass defense in the NFL. Stroud has only gone over 259.5 passing yards once in the last seven games, but Jacksonville has allowed an average of 278.3 passing yards per game this season. With the talent he has, Stroud should be able to exceed this mark. Take the OVER.
Tank Dell, O/U 51.5 receiving yards at -113/-113 (FanDuel)
Dell has gone over 51.5 yards in both games since Nico Collins returned to the lineup. Jacksonville has allowed an average of 13.5 receptions for 183.5 yards per game, so Dell should get more targets. Take the OVER.
Tank Dell, O/U 4.5 receptions at +130/-170 (FanDuel)
With Jacksonville giving up so many yards, Dell should get enough targets to exceed 4.5 receptions. Take the OVER.
Nico Collins, O/U longest reception 26.5 yards at -130/+100 (BetMGM)
Collins has had a reception of 28 yards or more in every game except one this season. Jacksonville has allowed 52 pass plays of 20 yards or more, so Collins should hit the OVER on this prop. Take the OVER.
