With many NFL teams resting their important players, Week 18 might not be the best time to bet on regular game lines. However, it’s a great week for betting on NFL player props, as many players will be trying to make a statement. With so many options available, it can be tough to pick the right ones. Here are some top NFL player prop picks for this weekend:

Saints vs. Buccaneers

  • Baker Mayfield, OVER 251.5 Passing Yards at -113 (via BetRivers)
  • OVER 1.5 Passing Touchdowns at -114 (via BetRivers)
  • To throw for 300+ yards +260 (via DraftKings)

Mayfield has been playing well, completing no less than 72.1 percent of his passes in the past three games. He’s passed for over 251.5 yards in five of his last six games (and 10 of 16 this season), and has thrown for 2+ touchdowns in his last four games.

Earlier this season, he threw for 325 yards and four touchdowns against the Saints, though he did have three interceptions. The Saints are struggling, and even if their defense starts strong, it will eventually wear down. Tampa Bay is aiming to secure the division title and its playoff spot. Mayfield will push hard, throwing for over 300 yards and at least two touchdowns. Take the OVER for both.

  • Mike Evans, OVER 100.5 at -135 (via BetMGM)
  • Anytime First Half TD Scorer at +160 (via bet365)

Evans needs just 85 more yards to reach 1,000 receiving yards for the 11th straight season. While winning is the priority, it’s hard to imagine Mayfield not trying to help Evans reach this milestone. In the first matchup, Evans was limited to just two receptions for 34 yards. That won’t happen again. If Mayfield targets Evans as expected, he will likely score at least once in the first half.

Week 18 NFL Schedule Finalized: Key Matchups Include Jaguars vs. Colts and Vikings vs. Lions

Vikings vs. Lions

  • Jared Goff, OVER 280.5 Passing Yards at -115 (via BetRivers)
  • Sam Darnold, OVER 281.5 Passing Yards at -115 (via bet365)

There’s a lot at stake in this game — division title, top record in the conference, and pride — so expect these quarterbacks to give their all. The Lions’ defense, especially their secondary, has been struggling due to injuries, so this game will likely see a lot of passing. Both quarterbacks should easily pass for over 280.5 yards.

  • Jordan Addison, OVER 63.5 Receiving Yards at -110 (via bet365)
  • OVER 4.5 Receptions at -150 (via bet365)
  • 6+ Receptions at +140 (via bet365)

While Justin Jefferson is the top target in Minnesota, Addison has been playing well in recent games. Sam Darnold has been targeting Addison heavily, especially in the last six games. He’s caught six or more passes in four of those games, and even though he has surpassed 63.5 yards in only three, he should have a good chance of doing so against the weakened Lions secondary.

  • Jahymr Gibbs, OVER 87.5 Rushing Yards at -114 (via BetRivers)
  • OVER 17.5 Rushing Attempts at -122 (via BetRivers)

The Lions have been relying on Gibbs since David Montgomery’s injury, and he’s responded well, running for over 100 yards in each of the past two games. With the Vikings’ defense more focused on the pass, Gibbs will find plenty of running lanes and should easily surpass 87.5 rushing yards. It may take him until the fourth quarter to get his 18th carry, but he will get there.
