Bengals Defense Suffocates Rams for 19-16 Victory

To save their season, the Cincinnati Bengals faced off against the Los Angeles Rams in a Super Bowl LVI rematch. The defense stepped up as well as anyone could have expected, and the offense was enough for

Cincinnati to earn a 19-16 win over LA. An unfortunate fumble by tight end Tanner Hudson while Burrow was targeting him led to a failed third down conversion, and Evan McPherson kicked a 56-yard field goal wide left.

They converted their first third down of the game with the help of some nice catch-and-run by Tyler Boyd. Rookie wide receiver Charlie Jones also made his first career catch for a first down.

Bengal Team’s Positive Energy and Successful Third Down Conversion

The Bengal team player’s positive energy can be seen on the ground, and they all started with a promising drive. The team has positively converted the first third down of the game, which has been appreciated by Tylor Bond for his effort in the team and his effort on the ground as his better catch and run.

bengals-rams

Also, in the first down, rookie Charlie Jones had his first career catch, which was most likable by the fans and also led to a part of a moment of the match. More of the different players had different efforts for the game, as, in the tight end of the game, the team had to face unfortunate circumstances as they failed to do a third-down conversion.

The whole 56-yard ground goal is wide left scattered, which can be effective for the game and make it better for the different provisions. Both teams have different perseverance, and both suffered three-and-out with different next drives in the intense game played and involved by the players.

The Bengal team has put their effort into the direct drive effectively performed by the different detectors. Burrow has played effectively and also spread the balls around. The ball has been taken by him and also hitting five different players on the ground.

The different players with Joe Mixon also derived a couple of good runs in the match, which is also related to the reason for the match bonding.

It will be interesting to see what happens next in this match. If Bengal wants to retain its place in this season, then it needs to win like this: any mistake or poor performance can take it out of the season.

Although he is getting support from fans, somewhere, their hopes of going to the finals have increased. Let’s see how the team performs in the upcoming matches.

Broncos Face Rebuild If Losing Streak Continues

The Denver Broncos have had a rough start to their 2023 season.

The Broncos have lost their opening three encounters, including a record-breaking defeat 70-20 defeat against the Dolphins.

The Broncos now get ready to face up against the Bears and Jets. Two games that may go on to define how the rest of their season may go.

Two more losses may just send the franchise into rebuild mode, forcing a squad overhaul and maybe even a coaching change.

The Broncos may look to shake things up before the trade deadline on October 31st if they fail to secure a win in either of their next two games.

The Broncos will be facing the Chiefs, Packers, and the Chiefs once more in October. A rebuild, if needed, should be quick and seamless.

Jerry Jeudy, Cortland Sutton, Garett Bolles, Randy Gregory, and Justin Simmons, considered some of their key players, may all find themselves on the trade list.

Only Patrick Surtain II may survive a massive overhaul that may take place within the Broncos.

The Broncos have lost out on draft picks in recent years due to the Russel Wilson trade, which has limited their options to improve the squad in the manner they would have liked.

GM George Paton may look to rebuild for the future if the Broncos fail to revive their season in the next two games.

The Broncos have stiff competition within their own division, with the Chiefs, led by Mahomes, and the Chargers, led by Herbert, standing out for their franchises.

Defensive Frailties

The Broncos defense was shattered against the Dolphins. The Dolphins scored 70 points, the highest for any NFL team since 1966.

The stats prove that the team from Denver just has not been able to stop their opponents. The Broncos rank last in total defense, yards allowed per play, run defense, and yards allowed per pass play while also ranking 31st in yards allowed per rush attempt. They rank 29th in pass defense, 31st in third-down defense, and 27th in sack percentage.

Not all is doom for the Denver defense, though. They perform slightly better on the third down, ranking 21st.
A cause for concern, though, lies in the fact that the Broncos didn’t force a third down until halfway into the third quarter in their game against the Dolphins.

The Broncos no longer have Von Miller and Bradley Chubb, which leaves the defense dependent on Patrick Surtain and Justin Simmons, which is not enough in the long run for an entire NFL Season.

Defensive coordinator Vance Joseph, a former head coach of the Broncos, may find the sack if he cannot find a way to fill the holes in the Broncos’ defense before their season gets derailed.

The next two weeks will be key as the Broncos reassess their roster and determine in which direction they wish to go this season and even in the seasons that lie ahead.

Cowboys Matchup: Ezekiel Elliot is a Reminder of Their No. 1 Issue on Offense

Dallas Cowboys have outscored their 2023 opponents 86-38, thanks to the boosts from their defense and special teams.

And yet, their first loss of the season was favored by double digits against Arizona Cardinals – the Cowboy’s top offensive concern – their red-zone production.

The Cowboys are very good at getting to the red zone, tying the Chiefs with a league-best 18 trips. Success, on the other hand, was proven quite difficult. The Cowboys rank 27th in the red-zone success rate, converting on just 40% (6 of 15) touchdowns.

That number is still worse over the last two weeks when 11 opportunities have yielded just three touchdowns. It’s a schematic weakness that Dallas is well aware of and one the team says it will harp on extra this week in practice.

Jones comments about switching to defense in red zone

“We’ve been down there ample times to execute it,” team owner and general manager Jerry Jones said. “When you get in that red zone, that’s the defensive time. They have the edge, and they have the shorter field.”

“Do we have the players to get the ball in there? Unquestionably, we have the players. Can we execute better? You can imagine what a focus point it is for our team.”

“While that is something to note, it’s not a long-range concern.”

If the Cowboys struggle in the red zone against the New York Jets and Cardinals, then expect them to fall harder in the next two weeks against New England Patriots defense and following to the San Francisco 49ers.

Against the Patriots, the Cowboys will also meet a clear reminder of why they’ve fallen so quickly in the red zone: the loss of running back Ezekiel Elliott.

Dallas released Elliott in March. The Patriots signed him for training camp. The Cowboys will likely welcome their 2016 fourth overall pick to his seven-year home with a tribute, Jones saying, “I don’t want to blow a surprise, and that’s a good enough answer for you.”

Elliott’s production was underrated. Touchdowns are worth six points, no matter how far out they arrive. Elliott collected 12 touchdowns each of the last two seasons. All 24 touchdowns came in the red zone.

The Cowboys ranked first in red-zone efficiency last season, converting on a whopping 71.43% of attempts. The prior year, they ranked sixth with a 63.08% success rate.

Is the absence 0f Elliot the reason the Cowboys are slipping in the red zone?

Jones quickly countered criticism for personnel moves and dismissed Elliott’s absence as a limiting factor in the red zone.

“Zeke’s unique physicalness is always nice to have, to be trite about it,” Jones said. “We think about ‘physical’ on short yardage and probably should. But I do not think that physicalness from the running back is contributing to us not getting in the end zone.”

The Cowboys need more from quarterback Dak Prescott, whose red-zone performance against the Cardinals included a costly interception. Prescott knows he also needs to use his legs more in the red zone, a tactic that’s generated 26 touchdowns in his career.

Cowboys will look to make defenses respect his escapability and lighten coverage on his targets against the Patriots. That’s what Jones will be expecting from McCarthy, whose play calls he’s overwhelmingly positive.

“I am very pleased with the prospects of going from here and what our potential is to correct some of the negatives you saw out there,” said Jones.

George Pickens; A Hidden Gem Awaiting the Nod For Unleashing

George Pickens convincingly maintained the well-established conviction that the Pittsburgh Steelers have a knack for picking Pro Bowl-worthy beneficiaries during the NFL Draft.

Last season, he contributed with an astonishing feature of  52 receptions for 801 yards, including four touchdowns. He achieved this feat while working with a lackluster attacking framework.

Furthermore, his devotion during the offseason, both regarding bonding with his partners and his remarkable showcasing in the preseason, simply adds to his promising growth.

George Pickens
George Pickens of Pittsburgh Steelers (Credits: The Score)

Given the circumstances, it was believably logical to assume that Pickens would experience a breakout season in 2023 or be able to help elevate the Steelers’ attacking unit from what previously was somewhat dull to a more admirable level.

It certainly seems to be on the way to progress at the moment, with some further tweaks and improvements still in the process of being made.

“Sky is The Ceiling”- An Understatement for Pickens’ Talent

George Pickens has undoubtedly begun the season with great efficiency. If it would be possible to somehow assume his overall season stats and his astonishing three-week performances, it would put him on course for 73 receptions, 1,348 yards, and five touchdowns.

However, it’s equally important to realize that such assumptions can prove to be unrealistic, as can be seen with T.J. Watt’s inspiring sack pace, which is nearly impossible to recreate even in a video game on the easiest settings. Therefore, being realistic while assuming stats is highly important to avoid getting carried away.

1300 yards is a benchmark that would require Pickens to average in excess of 18 yards per catch for the remaining season. It sure is possible but unlikely, given the output of the Steelers’ offensive unit.  However, to let the hypothesis bear fruits, George Pickens has to be more involved in The Steelers’ attacking plays.

A perfectly orchestrated way of attack needs ample amounts of different factors to bear fruits to the desired. Ambitious Coaches resort to risky but effective tactics, which basically ensure that the best players in the team are always in possession of the ball.

It’s not entirely about touchdowns only. Say, for example, Justin Jefferson is the epitome of a player whose understanding of positional play enables his team to advance further and create more chances of touchdown with Jefferson despite not scoring mostly, yet being at the heart of nearly every play.

Another Example is Keenan Allen, as the Chargers enjoyed their triumph over Jefferson’s Vikings on 24 September. Allen got hold of 18 passes for more than 200 yards in that game, successfully being at the heart of almost every play to edge out a win for his team.

Such players give a vital benefit to the team by concealing other teammates’ bad performances. Cincinnati’s Bengals’ WR Ja’mar Chase, with his individual brilliance throughout the game, ensured his team got hold of every duel. Thus hiding the woeful performances of some of his teammates underneath.

Pickens is usually deployed deep downfield, which leads to him being less involved in screenplays and slot snaps. Despite his positioning, he thrives in Yards Catch stats, depicting the fact that he makes things happen when provided with the chance and liberty to do so.

George Pickens’ involvement in the attacking plays of the Steelers ensures an intense threat to the opposition. His dummy runs make way for space for other receivers to get involved, while Quarterback Kenny Pickett enjoys advancing to the open spaces in the attacking areas made by Pickens’ runs.

Every stat in the game propagates the notion that Pickens is being under-utilized and that his involvement is the need of the hour for The Steelers.

Joe Burrow’s Return From Injury And What Lays Ahead For The Bengals

The Cincinnati Bengals have had a rough start to the 2023 NFL season, having lost their opening two encounters before emerging victorious against the Los Angeles Rams.

The Bengals are now bolstered by the return of quarterback Joe Burrow from a calf injury.

Burrow has gained the reputation of healing quickly after injuries, but his latest injury is different from the ones that plagued him earlier in his career.

Burrow, who has recovered from appendicitis and a torn ACL, is now coming back from a soft tissue injury to his calf, which is unchartered territory for both the player and the Bengals.

There is no fixed deadline for his return to full fitness, which is a cause for concern.

Soft tissue injuries need specialized care and treatment as they bring with them the chances of reinjury, which may hamper the Bengals in the long run if they rush Burrow’s return.

A Glimmer Of Hope

Speaking after the game on Monday, Burrow said, “We’re getting there. Every week will be better as long as there are no more setbacks.”

Having come off an injury, Burrow’s on-field performances still weren’t at the level he displayed at the Pro Bowl, but there were glimpses of it in the third quarter against a resolute Rams defense.

Burrow managed to complete an out-cut pass through a tight space, a difficult pass on the third down, as a play-action rollout, which led to a 43-yard completion by Chase.

The Bengals have games against the Titans and Cardinals. Both teams have shifted their rosters over the trade window, which may help in easing Burrow into full fitness.

The Bengals will be hoping to have a fully fit Burrow by mid-October and will be working towards the same.

Burrow’s Strength and Attitude

Bengals coach Zac Taylor spoke highly of Burrow’s attitude and toughness while acknowledging the skills Burrow brings that have led to the success of the Bengals in recent times.

Burrow, the younger brother of former Nebraska linebackers, brings with him the never-say-die attitude that his hometown is renowned for.

The Bengals franchise and fans will be hopeful for a fully fit Burrow to lead them to the title in the 2023 season.

About the Burrow’s Play

in spite of not being in a proper state to play, Burrow managed to help the Bengals (1-2)  and provided a good start. The Pro-bowl quarterback has shaken off the effects of a calf strain that kept Burrow’s availability in doubt till the game time. Burrow finished the game 26-49 in a season-high of 259 yards. He also threw a second interception this season.

Ja Marr chased with his 12 catches for 141 yards. The nine diverse Bengals team were the recipients of Burrow’s passes during the evening. The long catch was 43 yards that came during 3rd quarter drive. It led to a third of four field goals by McPherson.

Joe Burrow’s journey in NFL

He has led the Tigers team in the national championship. Joe was awarded the Heisman trophy. In 2020, he was picked as a first overall pick in the NFL Draft by the Cincinnati Bengals Team. But his season was cut short due to a knee injury. In 2023, Joe Burrow’s journey in the NFL is like a full circle.

The Cincinnati Bengals team is the opposing team. In 2020-2022, he joined the Bengals team as the leader and playmaking ability. He had a connection with Ja’Marr Chase, which was the highlighted news of the season. Beyond the field also, he became a loving figure in the Cincinnati community.

The Cincinnati Bengals team’s defense was incredible in the game. Stafford was stacked twice by the defensive player Trey Hendrickson. Wilson intercepts once in every half-time, and Stafford finished 18 for 39 for 239 yards. The Rams also slipped into 1-2. Mixon carries 19 for 65 yards. The Cincinnati Bengals team’s possession in the second half went over to the left tackle. A seam to score was found from 14 yards.

The Ring of Honor

The former quarterback Boomer Esiason and receiver Chad Johnson were inducted into the Bengals team Ring of Honor at halftime in the match. Esiason played for the Bengals in 1984-92. Then again, in the final season of 1997. He was also elected to Pro Bowl 3 times and was NFL MVP in 1998.

Johnson was officially known as Chad Ochocinco from 2008-2011. He played in the Cincinnati Bengals team for ten seasons. Chad also got elected to 6 Pro Bowls. He is still part of the game. An all-leader in 751 receptions and received yards of 10,783 and TDs of 66. Rams OL Alaric Jackson left the match in between due to a thigh injury.  Joe Burrow also left the game in the third quarter.

The Taylor Swift effect: Travis Kelce Jersey Sales Spike to 400%, Chiefs TV Ratings Rise

After a couple of weeks of scattered rumors of a budding romance between Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift, she showed up at a Chiefs game on Sunday. And everyone basically lost their minds over it.

A spokesperson for the apparel manufacturer told the Press that sales of Kelce’s jersey blew up on Sunday with “a nearly 400% spike in sales throughout the Fanatics network of sites, including NFLShop.com”.

After the game, Kelce did not speak to the media but was spotted leaving the stadium with Swift before the two drove away in a convertible.

Kelce’s move on Swift after months of courting

The dinner Kelce and Swift reportedly had came after months of courting by Kelce, who, after rumors began bubbling up that the two were dating, went on “The Pat McAfee Show” last week and revealed he had put the invitation out there.

“I threw the ball in her court and told her, ‘I’ve seen you rock the stage in Arrowhead. You might have to come to see me rock the stage in Arrowhead and see which one’s a little more lit,'” Kelce said.

This is just a normal love story that all rage about in the NFL. This got so famous that even famous Curmudgeon Bill Belnick had an opinion about the potential relationship.

TV Ratings spiked, the impact of Swift

Jersey was not the only thing to benefit from sales. Fox Sports announced on Tuesday that Sinday’s Chief got the highest rating of the week for any network, with 24.3 million views.

It made noticeable how much of an impact Swift had in terms of watching what was quickly a one-sided football game and a game where, in a number of markets, Fox turned away after a 34-0 halftime score.

In the aftermath of the 41-10 win over the Bears, Kelce had seen an increase in social media followers from 300,000 and a perfect bump in merch sales. Yes, Kelce now risks becoming someone to whom the future lyrics of a Taylor Swift song are devoted if the relationship ends poorly.

The first piece of tangible proof might come on Sunday night when plenty of youngsters otherwise disinterested in the NFL will be tuning in to see Kelce’s Chiefs play the Jets. It will make the ratings for the Rodgers-less game very revealing.

Sean McVay; A Victim of his Own Rigid Tactics as Rams Face Defeat Against Cincinnati Bengals

Cincinnati Bengals earned a hard-fought victory against The Los Angeles Rams in a captivating contest that saw the scoreline read 19-16 after the full-time.

As the scoreline suggests, it was a battle of will between the two sides as the Bengals emerged victorious after converting their chances.

The Rams had ample an amount of instances to their advantage in the early minutes, but they failed to score a touchdown. Matthew Stafford, however, turned the ball over.

Cincinnati Bengals vs LA Rams
Cincinnati Bengals and LA Rams in action

The Bengals responded fiercely as they took a crucial lead in the second half. However, the Bengals’ defense was wayward in numerous instances, but the Rams seemed to be in no mood to punish them for each mistake.

Joe Burrow, despite not being a hundred percent when it comes to fitness, played a pivotal role in keeping his team in the game.

A Bittersweet Mixture of  an Efficient Defense but Ineffective Offense

Apart from the commendable efforts and sheer determination of the Rams’ defense line, there were other key moments crafted by the Rams team as well, especially the continuous kick by Brett Maher. He proved to be a potential asset for the Rams this season as a Kicker they can contribute when called upon.

In the nail-biting fourth quarter, the Bengals found themselves in a crucial fourth-and-one situation as Rams fans could already see clouds of despair hover over their heads for what would be a second consecutive loss of the season.

However, a twist followed as the Rams’ defense put some heroics on display for the crowd, intercepting Joe Burrow to instill hope in the hearts of Rams fans and other players alike.

Following the morale-boosting incident, the Rams were unable to find a fruitful outcome in attacking positions.

They relied on a uni-dimensional plan of passing continuously, and Coach Sean McVay’s persistent approach of refusing to run the ball proved detrimental to the team.

The Coach’s style of play was not suited for the intensity that the game contained. This strategic decision left the supporters and experts baffled and raised certain eyebrows around the sporting environment.

A talent like Kyren Williams was not given the freedom to run the ball after having been a crucial player for the Rams the whole season.

Even though pass and play tactics helped the Rams see much of the ball in their control, the struggle along the final third could not be overcome. It felt like a meaningless passage of play was left uninterrupted by the Bengals.
The Rams, at one point, stood at 0 for 6 in third down conversions, further dropping down to 0 for 10.

The Coach, however, stood by his plan, which ultimately killed any hope of a comeback despite the defense line working their socks off for the team.

It would be extremely harsh to put all the blame on the Coach for their loss, as the Rams’ offensive line did get certain chances that they couldn’t convert. There were a few debatable decisions made by the referees, too, but it’s still inappropriate to blame anyone but the chances missed by The Rams for being a catalyst in the reasons for their loss.

Justin Fields Optimistic About Bears’ Playoff Chances: “We Have 14 Opportunities Ahead”

Bears quarterback Justin Fields believes it is much too early to give up hope on the current season.

The 0-3 Bears are probably the most disappointing team in the NFL, but Fields stated after Sunday’s loss to the Chiefs that he isn’t giving up on the chance of participating in the playoffs.

Fields admitted that “I need to be better,” but after a difficult week in Chicago in which he felt the need to call a special press conference to clarify comments he’d made earlier about what’s going on with the team, he says he’s still grateful that he gets to pursue his dream of being an NFL quarterback.

“The Lions started 1-6 last year, and they almost made the playoffs,” Fields said. “We’ve got 14 left, at least.”

“I’m looking at it like the big picture, just life in general,” Fields said. “I think this past week has had me kind of look at it like, What are the important things in life? I think these past couple of weeks have made me appreciate the little things in life, like being able to play this game.

Every opportunity I get to go out there and play, I’m going to have fun. I’m going to play my hardest and just thank God for giving me the ability to play. So, no matter what the scoreboard is, I will keep to the same mindset and just push and keep moving forward.”

Sunday’s home fixture against the 0-3 Broncos may be an opportunity for the Bears to turn things around in their favor, although even coming off a 70-20 loss, the Broncos are still favored by 3.5 points for the game in Chicago.

Bengals Bounce Back: Win Their First Game Of The Season

The Cincinnati Bengals powered through in their important clash against the Rams on Monday night.

The Bengals have had a rough start to their season, with their win against the Rams coming after two losses in their opening two fixtures of the 2023-2024 NFL season.

The Rams, who over the trade window made some unexpected trades, were overlooked as contenders for this season but managed to prove their mettle in a Week 1 win against the Seahawks.

Bengals Baited By Rams Attitude

Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow, who has been battling with a calf injury since the summer, was baited into making mistakes downfield by the Rams, who played with a fearless attitude throughout the game.

The Rams forced Burrow into making errors, reducing his trademark deep throws, which is a key feature of the Bengals’ offense.

Despite his calf injury, Burrow returned to the field, showing his mental fortitude and helping his team win their first game of what has been a rough start to the season. Chase and Higgins supported Burrow in making crucial plays. The return of Burrow may be the key to helping the Bengals get back on track following two losses in the first two game weeks of the season.

The Bengals’ offense struggled in the first half, averaging 3.8 yards gained per play. They were held back with false starts on third down, stalling multiple drives.

Burrow, who is usually very accurate, completed only 54.8% of his passes in the first half, a stark contrast from his lofty standards.

The Bengals failed to go downfield on a consistent basis through their receivers, Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins.

Matthew Stafford Struggles

The Bengals were kept in the game due to the Rams own quarterback, Matthew Stafford, struggling to make plays despite the immense support given by a resolute Rams’ defense.

Stafford was sacked six times and threw two interceptions, completing just 18 of 33 pass attempts for 269 yards and just a singular touchdown.

The Rams were excellent in their playmaking in the first half but failed to take advantage, especially in the red zone.

Stafford’s interceptions proved costly, as they allowed the Bengals to take the lead in the second half.

The Rams now face pressure to win their upcoming games against the Colts, Eagles, and Cardinals.

Are Bengals Ready To Be Considered As Super Bowl Contenders?

With their victory over the Rams, the Bengals now seemed to have returned into the position of being considered contenders for the Super Bowl.

They were able to bounce back from a 0-2 start last season and reach the AFC Final, which has given them the confidence they need.

With a dynamic offense and a steady defense, the Bengals have put themselves in a position to be considered favorites for the AFC title, with stiff competition coming from the Chiefs, Dolphins, Bills, and Ravens.

With their losing start now behind them, the Bengals now look to reach the top, just as many had predicted before their poor start to the season.

Dolphins Demolish Broncos 70-20; Achieving Highest NFL Game Score in 57 Years

The Miami Dolphins made history in today’s game against the Broncos, cumulating the most points since the NFL-AFL merger. Not only did Miami drop 70 points, but they also had 726 total yards of offense and ten touchdowns, leaving the Broncos with no answer on the field.

At the Hard Rock Stadium, cheers of “Three more points!” could be heard during Miami’s final drive. With less than a minute left, the Miami Dolphins had possession of the ball inside the Denver Broncos’ 30-yard line and were just three points away from breaking the single-game scoring record for the NFL.

Following a helmet-to-helmet hit last week, receiver Jaylen Waddle was forced to sit out his first game of his career while in the concussion protocol. Even without him, The Broncos had no answer for the Dolphin’s offense.

Tua Tagovailoa MVP performance: Leading the lines for the Dolphins

Tua Tagovailoa was just one short of Ryan Tannehill’s team record for consecutive completions to start the game. He ended the match with 23 of 26 for 309 yards and four touchdowns.

Running back Raheem Mostert had 13 carries for 82 yards and three touchdowns. He also caught seven passes for 60 yards and a touchdown. Hill caught nine passes for 157 years and a touchdown.

Rookie Achane had 18 carries for 203 yards and two touchdowns, and he had four catches for 30 yards and two touchdowns.

Sean Payton, the head coach of the Denver Broncos, called the game “embarrassing” and “tough to watch” after it ended.

“Look, it would be one thing to say, ‘Hey, we’re going to get on to the next game,’ but we have to watch that tape, and so tomorrow will be tough for a lot of players – tough for us, too, as coaches,” Payton quotes.

Saints Rookie RB Kendre Miller’s Supposed Season Debut.

Borrowing any setbacks this week, rookie running back Kendra Miller will get his first NFL rep this Sunday in Green Bay and in his first NFL game. He actually is playing against the team he grew up cheering for as former Packers quarterback, and Aaron Rodgers was his favorite player.

Kendra Miller did miss the first two weeks of the season with a hamstring injury, but he has been back at practice and practice as a full participant through the first two practices of the week and tells us it feels good to be back, even quarterback Derek Carr is looking forward to getting Kendra Miller back on the field and seeing just the violence that he runs with.

Rookie’s statements prior to his seasonal debut

The statement given by Kendra Miller in the interview explains what sets him apart. He said that know “ I feel like I mix the speed with power, which is a little different because I can run super violent, or I feel like I got the speed to break away, so it’s kind of a 50-50.

The Packers rank near the bottom of the league and run defense, giving up 166.5 yards on the ground per game, but the Saints found a ton of success in their run game, and they are hoping Kendra Miller can provide a spark on the road Sunday when they take on the Green Bay Packers.

His chances of getting benched

We don’t necessarily know if he is going to be the leadback for the NEW Orleans Saints. That may very well be Tony Jones Jr., and think about it this way: Jamal Williams might be the lead back when it’s Jamal Williams, and Alvin Camara still plays a big-time role as the change-of-pace guy who can do a little bit of everything while Jamal Williams is the tone setter he’s the guy that totes The Rock he’s the Bell cow back all of that.

Who should we also expect to get substituted?

One could see Tony Jones Jr. filling the role of cowback while Kendra Miller substitutes in and kind of fills the role as the change-your-pace explosive big play guy. The statement was given by Pete Carmichael during the press on where they see Kendra Miller as a route runner.

Dennis Allen said that weeks ago, during training camp, the thing they wanted to see for Miller was for him to develop a little bit more subtlety in his route running so he’s got an in-breaking route. Can he sell the outside break first before cutting inside? Can he sell the leverage shifts? Can he down-throttle and then pick up?

So when you look at where a guy like Kendra Miller could have an immediate impact, it’s not only his contributions to the run game. It’s to be him as a pass catcher.
