Luka Modric, a former star for Tottenham Hotspur, has been ranked among the greatest 100 footballers of all time and is near the top of the list.
The 38-year-old wasn’t just ranked 19th by GDC Media; he was also placed ahead of other legends of his generation, like Brazil icon Ronaldinho and Thierry Henry, who many consider to be the greatest Premier League player ever.
Luka Modric, who is still one of the elite players for Real Madrid and Croatia, is arguably the greatest player in the history of his country and a contemporary legend at the Bernabeu.
From an individual perspective, the biggest moment of Modric’s career was when he won the Ballon d’Or in 2018.
Modric had his fair share of challenges and difficulties at Madrid, and he was only 26 years old when he left Tottenham Hotspurs in 2018 for £30 million BBC Sport. He also didn’t have a trophy to his name at the time.
However, since leaving Tottenham Hotspurs, he has only gotten better, winning an incredible five European Cups during this time.
Luca Modric, a Tottenham Legend
There have been several outstanding players who have worn the Spurs jersey during the Premier League era, including Luka Modric, Gareth Bale, and Harry Kane, who just left the team this season.
Furthermore, Modic might be the best among the group, given his genius in the middle of the park.
Kane and Bale are undoubtedly mentioned, as well as Jurgen Klinsmann, a fan favorite, and Mousa Dembele, an underappreciated street football player.

Tottenham Hotspur Nearing Completion of Luka Vuskovic Transfer
Sportske Novosti states that Vuskovic will have a medical test in London before signing a long-term deal with Ange Postecoglou’s team. Vuskovic scored the youngest goal in Hajduk Split history just five days after turning 16 years old.
Vuskovic and his family have already landed in London; the official announcement may happen soon.
On the other hand, Perisic might need to wait until the summer of 2024, when he becomes a free agent, before making a return to the club, where he began his professional journey as a footballer. The experienced winger continues to play an important role in Postecoglou’s strategies, having participated in all four Premier League games under the former Celtic manager.
“As you well know, Ivan Perisic has one more year left on his contract with Tottenham,” Mindaugas Nikolicius, Hajduk’s sporting director, told Dnevnik NoveTV.
“Of course, we are monitoring the situation. And I can honestly say that we will try everything in our power to sign him.
“I wouldn’t want to reveal the nature of the talks in terms of who is talking to whom and in which direction it is going.”
