Right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold marked his 300th appearance for Liverpool on Wednesday (January 31) night during a commanding 4-1 victory over Chelsea at Anfield. His teammate, Conor Bradley, shared his thoughts on this milestone.
In the second match since manager Jürgen Klopp announced his departure at the end of the season, Liverpool showed their determination from the outset. Bradley played a crucial role, assisting Diogo Jota’s opener in the 23rd minute and scoring himself six minutes before halftime.
Bradley continued to shine, providing his second assist of the game as he set up Dominik Szobozslai in the 65th minute, extending Liverpool’s lead to 3-0. Although Chelsea managed to pull one back through Carney Chukwuemeka, Luis Diaz secured Liverpool’s victory with another goal 11 minutes from time.
After the game, Alexander-Arnold shared a photo of himself with Klopp, captioning it:
“Now > Then 300 appearances for the Reds.” The 25-year-old Alexander-Arnold has made significant contributions, tallying 18 goals and 81 assists in 300 games across various competitions for Liverpool since his debut under Klopp in the 2016-17 season.
