The Rock’s recent comeback on SmackDown has triggered significant turmoil in WWE. Following The People’s Champion’s hint at a WrestleMania 40 clash with Roman Reigns, a faction of fans took to social media in revolt. They argued that Cody Rhodes deserved the opportunity to face Reigns at this year’s Show of Shows.
While some fans expressed their discontent by making the confrontation video between The Rock and Roman Reigns the most disliked on YouTube, others resorted to unacceptable behavior. A certain segment of fans began directing abusive language towards The Rock’s daughter, Ava, on Twitter.
In addition to the verbal abuse, Ava received numerous death threats on the platform. Consequently, the NXT General Manager deactivated her social media account. Currently, Ava is only active on Instagram. It remains uncertain whether she will return to Twitter in the future.
Despite facing unwarranted backlash for something she had no involvement in, Ava made a notable appearance on the latest episode of NXT. Much to the delight of social media users, she was warmly welcomed by cheers from the live audience in the arena.
