Manchester United have reportedly established a valuation for Mason Greenwood, as interest from two Champions League clubs intensifies.

In August, it was confirmed that Greenwood and Manchester United had mutually agreed that the 22-year-old forward would pursue his career elsewhere, following an internal investigation by the club. Greenwood’s loan move to Spanish La Liga outfit Getafe for the 2023/24 season was confirmed on transfer deadline day.

Since joining Getafe, Greenwood has amassed 24 appearances across various competitions, contributing seven goals and five assists to his team’s cause.

Consequently, speculation has arisen regarding Greenwood’s permanent departure from Manchester United in the upcoming summer transfer window.

According to Fussball News, Manchester United is seeking a minimum of €40 million to part ways with the English talent.

It has been reported that Spanish powerhouses Barcelona and Atlético Madrid have expressed interest in securing Greenwood’s services once his loan spell with Getafe concludes at the season’s end.

Recently, Greenwood was involved in an alleged incident with Real Madrid’s Jude Bellingham.

The midfielder from Madrid is presently under investigation by La Liga for an alleged offensive remark directed at Greenwood.

Following the incident, Getafe manager Jose Bordalas commented: “I know the same thing that you know. It’s not up to me; it’s the club, La Liga, and the Federation that have to assess it.”

“The only thing that I can say is that I ask for respect from Mason Greenwood because he is a great guy,” Bordalas continued.

“He is a man who respects everyone and has exemplary behaviour.”

Greenwood and Getafe are scheduled to return to action this weekend, facing off against Barcelona on Saturday afternoon.
