Michael Owen thinks that Liverpool’s 24-year-old striker, Darwin Nunez, has the potential to become a top-class player in the future.
The former Liverpool striker, Michael Owen, made it known on Premier League Productions that he sees a lot of potential in Darwin Nunez.
However, Owen has also pointed out some negative facts. He said that the 24-year-old striker has some areas of his game that he really needs to work on to get better.
The pundit, on their part, believes that if the Uruguay international continues to get better and work on different aspects of his game, then for sure he will reach his full potential.
Owen, if quoted, said: “I think Darwin Nunez has the potential to become a very good player for Liverpool, but there are areas in his game where he needs to work on for improvement.”
“The timing he has when it comes to heading is perfect. However, when the ball is on the ground, his shots can sometimes be a bit off target.”
“He is a very good player when the ball is in the air.
“Nunez needs to work on changing angles. He needs to work on making better decisions if he wants to become a better player than what he is at the moment.”

Darwin Nunez Could Become a Good Player for Liverpool
“We think that Darwin can actually become a big star player for Liverpool in the future.
As Michael Owen said, Darwin Nunez still has some things to learn and improve in his game. He still has some work to do to become even better.
We hope that with Jurgen Klopp as his coach, Nunez will improve even more than our expectations.

But we should not forget that Salah became even better after he joined Liverpool and started working with Klopp and his coaches, and that made him what he is today.
