Nominees:

Nikolas Motta def. Tom Nolan at UFC Fight Night 234

Nikolas Motta (14-5 MMA, 2-2 UFC) backed up his words as he punished Tom Nolan (6-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) for his pre-fight bravado in their lightweight clash. The 23-year-old prospect Nolan felt the sting of a left-right combination early on, leading to a swift stoppage by Motta just 63 seconds into the bout.

Brunno Ferreira def. Phil Hawes at UFC Fight Night 234

Living up to his nickname “The Hulk,” Brunno Ferreira (11-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC) delivered a brutal finish to Phil Hawes (12-6 MMA, 4-4 UFC) in their middleweight showdown. Ferreira’s fight-ending combination, featuring a flying knee and punches, left Hawes unconscious, adding another highlight to Ferreira’s perfect finishing record.

Magomed Ankalaev def. Johnny Walker at UFC Fight Night 234

Magomed Ankalaev (19-1-1 MMA, 10-1-1 UFC) added intrigue to the light heavyweight title picture with a second-round knockout victory over Johnny Walker (21-8 MMA, 7-5 UFC). A counter right sent Walker crashing, and Ankalaev sealed the deal with another right hand, prompting an immediate stoppage as Walker covered his damaged nose.

Laid Zerhouni def. Bartosz Fabinski at KSW 90

Laid Zerhouni (12-8) made KSW history with one of the fastest knockouts, taking only 12 seconds to flatten UFC veteran Bartosz Fabinski (16-6). Zerhouni showcased relentless aggression, rocking Fabinski with punches before finishing the fight with a series of shots that left his opponent on the canvas.

The Winner

Neil Magny def. Mike Malott at UFC 297

In what might be a Comeback of the Year contender, Neil Magny (28-11 MMA, 21-10 UFC) turned the tide against Mike Malott (10-2-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC) after two dominant rounds.

Magny secured the victory with ground-and-pound strikes, stopping Malott at 4:45 of Round 3. The Canadian fighter showcased resilience, overcoming effective kicks from Malott and finishing the fight with a late-round ground assault.
