Former wrestler and WCW star Disco Inferno recently discussed Vince McMahon’s recent achievements before he departed from his role as creative head in WWE.

Amidst controversy sparked by a lawsuit filed by former WWE employee Janel Grant, accusing McMahon of abuse and exploitation, the 78-year-old released a statement denying the allegations and stepping down from his position out of respect.

On a recent episode of the Keepin’ It 100 podcast, Inferno highlighted that McMahon’s recent accomplishments had been overshadowed by criticism. He specifically mentioned McMahon’s involvement in creating “The Bloodline” storyline, which he deemed one of the best in wrestling history.

Inferno suggested that McMahon hadn’t received enough credit for his contributions, despite producing quality television.

“I think people are unfairly critical of Vince McMahon’s achievements. They paint the last few years of his tenure as a disaster and act relieved that he’s gone. However, he was behind the creation of ‘The Bloodline’ storyline, which remains one of the standout narratives in professional wrestling.

It seems like this fan base is quick to criticize McMahon without acknowledging his successes, while simultaneously praising Tony Khan without holding him accountable for his shortcomings.”
