WWE has meticulously nurtured and advanced The Bloodline over the past four years, ensuring each move is carefully calculated and executed with top-tier expertise and precision.
For much of this time, the responsibility rested squarely on the seasoned and capable shoulders of Michael Hayes. However, recent weeks have hinted at potential shifts in this dynamic. According to a report from Fightful Select, Hayes is no longer solely in charge of producing segments for WWE RAW or WWE SmackDown.
Previously, Fightful had noted Hayes’s pivotal role in overseeing most Bloodline-related angles and segments across both shows, particularly those featuring Roman Reigns. However, recent developments suggest a change in this arrangement.
In a report from January 2024 (via PWInsider), it was revealed that the segment involving Drew McIntyre and Punk had Michael Hayes co-producing alongside Chris Park, known as Abyss. While Hayes typically handled all Bloodline-related tasks, he now appears to have a co-producer assigned to his segments.
This could imply that Abyss is shadowing Hayes, potentially gearing up for a more prominent role in the future.
Whether this signifies Hayes stepping aside or Abyss being groomed for greater responsibility remains to be seen. The decision on who will oversee crucial storylines, perhaps even leading up to WrestleMania 40, may ultimately lie with Triple H or his team.
