The 49ers, playing as the road team, will be attired in their white jerseys and gold pants.
Despite some changes in player rosters, the 49ers and Chiefs find themselves once again vying for the Super Bowl championship, marking their second encounter in the last four years.

The Chiefs emerged victorious in their previous clash on Feb. 2, 2020, with a final score of 31-20. Notably, the Chiefs staged a remarkable comeback in the fourth quarter, outscoring the 49ers 21-0 to erase a 10-point deficit.

This triumph marked the Chiefs’ first championship since 1969, and they have since made appearances in three of the last four Super Bowls, including the upcoming showdown with the 49ers. A win would make them the first team to repeat as champions since the New England Patriots in 2003 and 2004.
On the other hand, the 49ers are seeking their first Super Bowl victory in 29 seasons. A triumph in this game would also tie them with the New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers for the most Super Bowl titles in NFL history, each boasting six championships.
Having faced defeats in their last two Super Bowl appearances, including a 34-31 loss to the Baltimore Ravens in Super Bowl 47, the 49ers reached this year’s game with comeback wins against the Green Bay Packers and the Detroit Lions.
Their 17-point comeback against the Lions equaled the largest comeback win in NFC Championship Game history, a feat previously achieved by the same 49ers team that lost to the Ravens in the Super Bowl.
Super Bowl 58 is scheduled to take place at Allegiant Stadium on Feb. 11.
