Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson has responded to Ian Garry’s recent remarks about him, addressing the Irish fighter’s decision to cancel his appearance on Jackson’s podcast. Jackson, a former UFC light heavyweight champion, discussed the situation following Garry’s comments on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani.
During his appearance, Jackson humorously referenced ongoing rumors about Garry and his wife, Layla Anna-Lee, a UK sports presenter, suggesting whether Anna-Lee’s ex-husband lives with the couple. Additionally, Jackson used a derogatory term to refer to Garry.
In response, Garry took to social media to criticize Jackson, stating that he had initially agreed to appear on Jackson’s podcast during fight week but decided against it due to Jackson’s disrespectful comments and baseless rumors.
“I’ve got the c*nt on Monday of fight week. I’ve got him in, like, four days, I’m on his podcast. And he goes on, and he calls me a ‘c**k.’ He’s, Ian, the ‘c**k.’ He didn’t even know my name.”
The exchange highlights the tension between the two fighters, with Garry expressing his disapproval of Jackson’s behavior and decision to cancel his podcast appearance.
