The Dolphins made three roster moves on Tuesday, including the previously reported releases of linebacker Jerome Baker and defensive back Keion Crossen. However, Baker’s release was due to a failed physical, as announced by the team.
Baker’s departure frees up $9.8 million in cap space, while Crossen’s exit adds $3 million to the savings. With the team needing to be cap-compliant by March 13, the Dolphins are still approximately $18 million over the cap.
In addition to the releases, the Dolphins also announced the signing of defensive tackle Isaiah Mack.
Mack has played 25 career games, starting one, over four seasons in the NFL. He has accumulated 17 tackles, 2.5 sacks, and a fumble recovery in his career.
Throughout his career, Mack has seen action with the Titans (2019-20), Patriots (2020), Ravens (2021-22), Broncos (2021), Steelers (2021), Seahawks (2022), Jets (2023), and Commanders (2023).
