Nate Landwehr continues to assert himself as a dynamic force in mixed martial arts.
The 35-year-old featherweight once again seized the spotlight, earning yet another Performance of the Night bonus for his electrifying victory over Jamall Emmers at UFC Atlantic City this past Saturday.
Renowned for his thrilling performances in the 145-pound weight class, Landwehr overcame early adversity to deliver a spectacular knockout blow to Emmers in the waning moments of the opening round. This marked “The Train’s” fourth $50,000 post-fight bonus in his last five appearances within the UFC.
Additionally, Dennis Buzukja captured the night’s other Performance of the Night accolade. Ending a two-fight skid, Buzukja secured his inaugural UFC triumph by way of a third-round knockout against Connor Matthews on the event’s undercard.
UFC Atlantic City unfolded on March 30th at Boardwalk Hall in New Jersey.
The evening’s final bonuses were claimed by light heavyweights Ibo Aslan and Anton Turkalj, who were awarded Fight of the Night honors for their rematch. Aslan avenged a previous loss from four years ago, sealing the victory with a third-round knockout over Turkalj, culminating in a thrilling showdown.
