According to ESPN’s Rich Cimini, the New York Jets are open to trade offers for the No. 10 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft from teams in need of a quarterback. Cimini reports that the Jets are particularly interested in a trade that includes a top-100 selection as compensation.
After acquiring quarterback Aaron Rodgers in a trade that cost them a second-round pick, the Jets currently possess the No. 10 and No. 72 picks in the upcoming draft.
Several teams, including the Minnesota Vikings, Denver Broncos, and Las Vegas Raiders, who are slated to pick after the Jets, are potential suitors for the No. 10 pick, according to Cimini. However, these teams might only be willing to part with draft capital if they believe they can secure a quarterback with the pick.

Cimini notes that the top four quarterbacks in the draft, such as USC’s Caleb Williams and LSU’s Jayden Daniels, are unlikely to be available at the No. 10 spot. Thus, teams may be eyeing quarterbacks like Oregon’s Bo Nix, who could rise in the draft rankings, as potential targets.
Cimini’s report coincides with ongoing trade discussions surrounding Jets quarterback Zach Wilson. Despite rumors, Jets general manager Joe Douglas stated at the recent league meeting that there’s nothing imminent regarding a Wilson trade.
Furthermore, Jets owner Woody Johnson expressed the possibility of retaining Wilson if a suitable trade offer doesn’t materialize. Wilson, the No. 2 pick in the 2021 draft, faced challenges regaining his starting position after Rodgers’ injury in the 2023 season opener, leading to him being benched for the second consecutive season.
