One of the best cornerbacks in this year’s draft is getting ready to show what he can do on the field next week.
Cooper DeJean had a leg injury in his last season at Iowa, but he said he’s been given the okay to play again. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, he’s told teams that he’s ready to go and will be working out for them at the school on April 8th.
DeJean’s workout will include all the tests and drills for his position.
Before getting injured last season, DeJean had a good record with 41 tackles, two tackles behind the line of scrimmage, two interceptions, and five passes stopped. He also did well with punt returns, averaging 11.5 yards and even scoring a touchdown.
