Cornerback Qwan’Tez Stiggers had an impressive first season in the CFL, and now he’s been busy meeting with NFL teams.
Stiggers, who was named the CFL’s best rookie, started his NFL tour by visiting the Lions and Texans last month. Recently, he met with the Dolphins, and his agent Fred Lyles announced visits with the Jets and Ravens this week.
Stiggers will continue his meetings with a visit to the Broncos on Friday and a trip to see the Vikings on April 8. Unlike many NFL players, Stiggers didn’t play college football.
Instead, he joined the Toronto Argonauts after playing in the Fan Controlled Football League. Now, he’s eligible for this year’s NFL draft and participated in the East-West Shrine Game.
