In 2019, Andrew Luck received boos when he left Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis after retiring from football.
However, he was greeted warmly during his recent appearance in the city for a cancer fundraiser organized by Chuck Pagano, the former Colts head coach.
Luck expressed his deep connection to Indianapolis, acknowledging both the highs and lows of his time there, including leading the team to playoff games.
He admitted they weren’t perfect but hoped they provided something for fans to cheer about.
While he now lives near Stanford for graduate school, he’s found a way to stay connected to football by volunteering as a coach at Palo Alto High School, wanting to give back to the game that gave him so much.
