The Jets have eased Alijah Vera-Tucker’s load by securing his contract option for 2025. This year, his focus is streamlined as well.
Vera-Tucker has shifted across the offensive line since joining the league in 2021, but this season looks to be more stable. With additions like Tyron Smith and Morgan Moses, the Jets have solidified their tackle positions, leaving Vera-Tucker as the team’s right guard.
“It feels nice to have that certainty,” Vera-Tucker said. “Now, I can hone in on perfecting my technique in one spot.”
Aside from position changes, Vera-Tucker has faced injury setbacks in recent years. However, he’s optimistic about his recovery and looks forward to anchoring the Jets’ offensive line from a single position.
