The Bills have clinched four consecutive AFC East titles, but the team assembling for training camp next week looks markedly different from those championship squads.
Key players like Stefon Diggs, Mitch Morse, Jordan Poyer, Tre’Davious White, Gabe Davis, and Micah Hyde have departed, leaving uncertainty about how the new additions will mesh in Buffalo.
During an interview on NFL Network, left tackle Dion Dawkins acknowledged the upcoming season will be “different” and expressed his satisfaction with the team being overlooked.
“People are counting us out, and I’m okay with that,” Dawkins remarked.
“We can stay under the radar and surprise everyone. So, I’m fine with it.”
Despite oddsmakers favoring the Bills to win the AFC East again, there is talk of the team being underestimated with Josh Allen as quarterback heading into the 2024 season.
While players often use such perceptions as motivation, the Bills welcome any drive that helps them stay ahead in the division for another year.
