On Friday, the Baltimore Ravens agreed to a one-year contract with former Chicago Bears safety Eddie Jackson.
Jackson, who is 30 years old, adds depth to the safety position, joining Kyle Hamilton and Marcus Williams. He is set to take over the spot previously held by Geno Stone, who moved to Cincinnati after leading the AFC with seven interceptions last season.
During his seven-year tenure with Chicago, Jackson appeared in 100 games, making 15 interceptions and 459 tackles.
He earned Pro Bowl honors in 2018 and 2019.
Released by the Bears in February, Jackson has been hampered by foot injuries, causing him to miss a total of 10 games over the past two seasons.
The Ravens commence their training camp this Sunday.
