The Atlanta Falcons will be without receiver Rondale Moore for the rest of the season due to a right knee injury.
The team put Moore on injured reserve Thursday, a day after he left practice in an air cast during a joint session with the Miami Dolphins.
Moore, who is 24 years old, was traded from Arizona to Atlanta in March in exchange for quarterback Desmond Ridder, who was the Falcons’ main starting quarterback in 2023.
Moore was a second-round draft pick in 2021 from Purdue and is in the last year of his rookie contract. During his three seasons with the Cardinals, he caught 135 passes for 1,201 yards and three touchdowns.
On Thursday, the Falcons also re-signed punter Ryan Sanborn, who had been with the team for most of the offseason before being released on July 24.
