Browns rookie defensive tackle Mike Hall Jr. won’t be cut on Tuesday, but he is not expected to make the team’s initial 53-man roster.

Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com reports that Hall will be placed on the Commissioner’s Exempt list. He was arrested and charged with domestic violence after allegedly threatening a woman with a gun during an argument.

Players on the exempt list receive their pay but do not count toward the team’s roster limit and cannot take part in football activities.

Hall, who was a second-round pick this year, has continued to practice with the team since his arrest.
