LaMelo Ball is fearless on the basketball court.
However, the Charlotte Hornets guard seems to get a bit scared by clowns.
In a Halloween video that has gone viral, Ball is seen singing as he walks through a doorway after practice at the Spectrum Center. Suddenly, a hidden mechanical clown moves its arms, making the 23-year-old jump and scream.
In response, Ball hits the clown on the head.
As he starts to walk up the stairs, he turns back and slaps the clown again, knocking its head right off.
Laughing, he continues up the stairs and says, “Boy, hell no, it’s too early for that.” Ball and a team employee behind him keep laughing, and at one point, he jokingly falls on the stairs, holding his chest, and exclaims, “feel my heart!”
The Hornets have a game against the Boston Celtics on Friday night.
