Jordan Love, the quarterback for the Green Bay Packers, is likely to start in the crucial NFC North matchup against the Detroit Lions, as reported by ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Love’s availability was in doubt after he sustained a groin injury during the Packers’ recent win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. He was absent from practice on Wednesday, practiced on a limited basis on Thursday and Friday, and was ultimately listed as questionable for the game.

Running back Josh Jacobs is also expected to play despite an ongoing ankle injury. Like Love, Jacobs missed practice on Wednesday but returned to a limited capacity later in the week. His presence will be crucial for the Packers as they prepare to face the formidable Lions.

The Detroit Lions are having a remarkable season, currently boasting a 6-1 record—their best start since 1956. They have been especially strong in recent games, winning their last two encounters at Lambeau Field, which adds to the intensity of this upcoming rivalry match against the Packers.

On the other hand, the Packers are on a roll with four consecutive wins, holding a record of 6-2. However, they are still seeking their first division win of the season, currently sitting at 0-1 in the NFC North. This game presents a pivotal opportunity for both teams as they strive for dominance within the division.
