Leon Draisaitl scored his league-leading 22nd goal and added two assists as the host Edmonton Oilers jumped to a five-goal lead, holding on for a 6-3 win over the Vegas Golden Knights on Saturday afternoon.
Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Connor Brown each scored a goal and an assist for Edmonton, which extended its winning streak to a season-high five games. Zach Hyman and Corey Perry also scored goals, Darnell Nurse had two assists, and Stuart Skinner made 38 saves for the Oilers, who are 8-2-0 in their last 10 games.
Ivan Barbashev scored his team-leading 15th goal, and Brett Howden and Victor Olofsson also scored for Vegas, which saw its four-game win streak end. Noah Hanifin added two assists, and Adin Hill finished with 28 saves while allowing six goals, the most he has given up this season. The Golden Knights had allowed only five goals in their previous four games.
The Oilers opened the second period with four straight goals—Hyman, Brown, Draisaitl, and Perry—on just eight shots in the first 12:53, extending their lead to 5-0. The Golden Knights scored twice to cut it to 5-3 just over a minute into the third period, but the Oilers added another goal to seal the win.

Brady Tkachuk scored the overtime game-winner as Ottawa won its season-high third straight game, defeating Pittsburgh at home.
Tkachuk took a stretch pass from Jake Sanderson, made a toe-drag move around defenseman Erik Karlsson, and beat goalie Tristan Jarry (28 saves) for his team-high 15th goal. Thomas Chabot had a goal and an assist, and Drake Batherson scored his 13th goal of the season. The Senators are 5-1-1 in their last seven games.
Ottawa goalie Linus Ullmark made 25 saves for his fifth straight win. Pittsburgh’s Blake Lizotte scored his fifth goal in nine games, and Kris Letang also scored.
Stars 2, Blues 1 (OT)
Matt Duchene scored on an overtime rush to lift Dallas over St. Louis.
Jason Robertson had a goal and an assist for the Stars, and Jake Oettinger made 15 saves to earn the win. Oettinger stopped a key shot from Pavel Buchnevich in overtime before Duchene scored the game-winner.
Jordan Kyrou scored for the Blues, who are 5-2-2 under new coach Jim Montgomery. Jordan Binnington made 35 saves to help St. Louis earn a point.
Ducks 4, Blue Jackets 3 (OT)
Alex Killorn capped his two-goal game with an overtime goal to lead Anaheim past Columbus.
Killorn scored in the second period and then added the overtime winner on a breakaway, assisted by Robby Fabri. Anaheim defenseman Jackson LaCombe had a goal and an assist, and Mason McTavish scored his 100th career point. John Gibson made 39 saves in goal for Anaheim, which snapped a five-game losing streak.
Kirill Marchenko and Cole Sillinger scored in the first period for Columbus, while goalie Jet Greaves made 23 saves. The Blue Jackets have lost six of their last seven games (1-4-2).
Devils 4, Blackhawks 1
Jack Hughes, Nico Hischier, and Timo Meier scored in a span of two minutes to help New Jersey defeat Chicago at home.
Dawson Mercer started the comeback for the Devils 2:45 into the third period. Goalie Jacob Markstrom made 16 saves in New Jersey’s win.
Jason Dickinson scored for the Blackhawks, who lost for the seventh time in eight games. Chicago goalie Drew Commesso made 20 saves in his second NHL appearance.
Bruins 5, Canucks 1
David Pastrnak and Pavel Zacha each scored a goal and combined for seven points to help Boston beat Vancouver.
Pastrnak (one goal, three assists) became the 11th player in Bruins history to reach 400 career assists, while Zacha (one goal, two assists) and Morgan Geekie (one goal, one assist) also had multiple-point games. Brad Marchand and Marc McLaughlin added goals for Boston, which has won five of its last seven games.
Max Sasson scored for Vancouver, which has won only one of its last four games (1-2-1). Goalie Thatcher Demko made 23 saves.

Los Angeles scored three goals in the second period to take control and finish with a 5-1 win at New York.
Adrian Kempe, Quinton Byfield, Alex Turcotte, and Warren Foegele each had a goal and an assist. Darcy Kuemper made 31 saves for the Kings, who have won seven of their last eight games.
Byfield, Kempe, and Phillip Danault all scored in the first 5:04 of the second period to make it 5-0 and chase Rangers goalie Igor Shesterkin (16 saves) from the game.

Kirill Kaprizov scored twice to lead Minnesota to a win over Philadelphia.
Matt Boldy and Marco Rossi also scored for the Wild, who bounced back from a 7-1 loss to Edmonton. Goalie Marc-Andre Fleury made 20 saves for his 567th career win, second-most all-time.
Travis Sanheim scored for the Flyers, who lost for the first time in three games. Goalie Samuel Ersson stopped 19 of 22 shots.
Red Wings 4, Maple Leafs 2
Jeff Petry scored his first two goals of the season to help Detroit beat Toronto.
Petry helped goalie Ville Husso (23 saves) earn his first win in over a year. Moritz Seider and Lucas Raymond also scored for Detroit, which won just its second game in eight. Raymond added an empty-net goal for his 10th in the last 12 games.
Auston Matthews and Matthew Knies scored for Toronto, which had won five of its last seven games. Joseph Woll made 22 saves.

Jake Guentzel scored for the sixth straight game and added an assist as Tampa Bay defeated Seattle.
Brandon Hagel scored twice, Brayden Point had a goal and an assist, and Nikita Kucherov had two assists. Declan Carlile, recalled earlier in the day, scored his first NHL goal for Tampa Bay, which finished 3-1-0 on their four-game Western road trip. Goaltender Jonas Johansson made 21 saves in his first appearance since November 29.
Brandon Montour scored for Seattle, which lost for the second time in regulation in its last seven games (4-2-1). Goalie Philipp Grubauer stopped 26 of 30 shots.

Dylan Strome scored the go-ahead goal in the third period to lead Washington past Buffalo.
Tom Wilson scored twice, and John Carlson had three assists for the Capitals, who have won four straight and are 8-0-1 in their last nine games. Goalie Logan Thompson made 19 saves.
Jason Zucker and Jiri Kulich scored for Buffalo, which has lost nine straight (0-6-3). Goalie Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen made 27 saves.

Gabriel Vilardi and Kyle Connor each had a goal and an assist to help Winnipeg beat Montreal and regain first place in the Central Division.
Josh Morrissey had two assists, and Adam Lowry and Vladislav Namestnikov also scored for Winnipeg. Goalie Connor Hellebuyck made 26 saves.

Mackenzie Blackwood had 37 saves in his team debut to help Colorado beat Nashville.
Blackwood, acquired from the San Jose Sharks, almost earned his second shutout of the season. Nathan MacKinnon scored twice and added an assist, while Artturi Lehkonen also scored twice. Ross Colton added a goal, and Mikko Rantanen had three assists for Colorado.
Steven Stamkos and Luke Evangelista scored for Nashville, and goalie Juuse Saros made 28 saves. The Predators have lost nine of their last 10 games.
Flames 3, Panthers 0
Nazem Kadri scored for the third straight game, and Dustin Wolf made 32 saves to help Calgary shut out Florida.
Coleman and Mikael Backlund also scored for Calgary. Wolf earned his second shutout of the season and improved to 9-5-1. One of his key saves came late in the third period on a breakaway by Sam Bennett.
The Panthers, shut out in their last two games, rested their starting goalie Sergei Bobrovsky. Backup Spencer Knight made 24 saves but lost his fifth game of the season.
Utah Hockey Club 4, Sharks 3
Clayton Keller scored the game-winner and added an assist as Utah defeated San Jose.
Nick Schmaltz had a goal and an assist, and Dylan Guenther and Michael Carcone each scored. Logan Cooley and Mikhail Sergachev had two assists each. Karel Vejmelka made 19 saves for Utah, which has won back-to-back games and four of five.
Fabian Zetterlund scored and had an assist, and Alexander Wennberg and Mikael Granlund also scored for San Jose, which has lost four of five. Vitek Vanecek stopped 36 shots for San Jose.
